KEK spirit still lives on as insurance company picks four CIIG awards.
The poet, Abeiku Okai, wrote about the late Mr. Kwesi Essel Koomson (KEK) and said, "KEK never dies; he lives on in our hearts. "
Even though the astute businessman and great philanthropists who lifted many from poverty, especially the people of his 'holy' hometown, Senya Beraku, by giving them hope, education, jobs and opportunities, went into eternity ten years ago, his name and legacy still remains among the living as the blessed soul that can never depart.
Among his legacy is the thriving KEK Insurance Brokerage Limited, which is serving the Ghanaian, African and international communities with high efficiency, best practices and quality service in the insurance industry.
The company has added to its strides the picking of the following awards at the maiden edition of the Chattered Insurance Institute of Ghana (CIIG),
# CIIG Best Insurance Broker, - General
#CIIG Best Insurance Broker - Life
# CIIG Best Reinsurance Broker
# CIIG Most supportive Broker.
The maiden award, which was held at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra, was meant to promote excellent effort in the industry and propel it's players to continue the good works by giving them the due recognition.
On his facebook handle, Mr Shaibu Ali, General Manager, wrote:
"It was a day for the KEK brand. This was made possible because of your custom. We pledge to do more in the coming years. Team KEK you do all."
Indeed it was a day for the KEK brand and many more such days will keep following every KEK brand because for the people of Senya Beraku, especially the hundreds of girls and youth whose destinies got brightened through this hero, the soul of Mr. Kwesi Essel Koomson (KEK) is a living testimony of men who came, who saw and who conquered for the benefit of humanity.
Congratulations to the company and it's able leadership. And thanks to every member of the KEK team. You have made Senya Beraku proud by keeping the spirit of our father, brother, husband and friend alive.
Keep resting well and smiling in pride, Chief.
